Job summary
The Senior Night Care Assistant role at Bosworth Care Home in Weymouth involves providing person-centred care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and medication administration. Main duties of the job
As a Senior Night Care Assistant, you will ensure that residents receive personal care within their preferences, actively promote their right to choice and independence, and contribute to and carry out care reviews to ensure their plans reflect their needs. - A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
- Shift patten 42 hours per week working from 8pm to 8am on a two weekly rolling rota to include alternative weekends
- Qualified to at least NVQ Level 2, and achieved or working towards NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
- At least two years' experience working in a social care environment - preferably with vulnerable people over 65
- Good demonstrable knowledge and experience of dementia
- Excellent communication skills and a real ability to show empathy to people under your care
