Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) at The Moreton Centre, youll play a key role in delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to residents with complex physical and mental health needs. Your main duties will include supporting residents with personal care, administering and managing medication safely, and creating tailored care plans that promote wellbeing and independence.
Youll lead shifts, guide and mentor care staff, and contribute to a positive team culture that puts residents first. Youll also be involved in clinical decision-making, liaising with families and healthcare professionals, and supporting therapeutic activities that enhance quality of life.
This is a hands-on role where your nursing expertise, communication skills, and empathy will make a lasting difference every day.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Coordinating the planning and implementation of patient care
- Developing and coordinating individual or group therapeutic activities
- Managing aspects of medication management in line with the Trust and NMC guidelines
- Participating in clinical review meetings
- Promoting, fostering, and ensuring good working relationships
- Adhering to all NMC, CQC and local authority standards and guidelines including the NMC code of professional conduct
- Acting as an advocate for our patients and residents
Enhanced Pay RatesWe offer additional pay for work completed on weekends and bank holidays:
- Weekends An extra£0.50 per hour
- Bank Holidays An extra£1.00 per hour
These enhancements are added on top of your standard hourly rate and apply to all hours worked during those times.
