The UKHSA Public Inquiry (PI) Team are recruiting a Senior eDiscovery Advisor to join the Data Discovery and Disclosure Team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing eDiscovery Team within UKHSA.
The Senior eDiscovery Advisor is responsible for managing the eDiscovery Programme which supports the critical work undertaken by the PI Team. Using your technical expertise, you will work closely with our PI Response Teams to investigate, collate, and analyse digital material, and facilitate secure transfer of this material to our eDisclosure platform. You will also assist colleagues with the construction and running of keyword and metadata searches, acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in this area.
You will have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and users from across the organisation as part of the projects you work on. The role will also require you to provide Business as Usual operations support to the PI Team and be a senior point of escalation for technical issues.
This role is being offered on a full-time basis.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following responsibilities, activities and duties:
- Construction and running of keyword and metadata searches using UKHSA's eDiscovery Toolkit.
- Close collaboration with PI Response Teams and cross-UKHSA SMEs to investigate, collate, and analyse digital material.
- Complete secure transfer of digital material to our eDisclosure platform.
- Ensure Team compliance with UKHSA eDiscovery principles and other relevant policies.
- Manage the incident response process, acting as the point of escalation for complex issues which may require third line support and/or third-party supplier support where necessary.
- Capture service incidents and requests and recommend remedial action.
- Support the wider PI Team and Legal Team in their use of our eDisclosure platform, advocating the use of best practice throughout the document review and production process.
- Provide technical expertise to manage and develop the eDiscovery Programme within the PI Team.
- Provide Business as Usual operations support to the PI Team and be a senior point of escalation for technical issues.
