Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a substantive Junior Sister / Charge Nurse in acute medicine. We are looking for a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic individual with experience in caring for complex medical patients. Your role will be to support the ward manager and team in delivering high quality patient centred care. Corbiere ward consists of 28 beds with a focus on caring for stroke patients. We have a current registered nurse to patient ratio 1:6. If you are committed to make a difference to our patients experience and keen to broaden your knowledge and skills we want to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to support and work alongside senior team members ensuring effective clinical skills and knowledge are maintained at all times, acting as a role model demonstrating effective leadership whilst deputising for the Senior Sister as required
