Job summary
Health and Community Services Higher Education Department are looking for Clinical Skills Facilitators. If you are a dynamic and motivated nurse, midwife or allied health professional who enjoys teaching, facilitating and developing the skills and knowledge of other healthcare professionals, then we would like to hear from you. You will need to have current NMC/HCPC registration and recent experience of supporting learning in clinical practice.
Main duties of the job
Support the education and training of multi-disciplinary groups of staff on core,
essential, and job specific clinical skills.
Prepare simulation and skills rooms for sessions and courses, ensuring effective
use of equipment and consumables.
Promote and adhere to the principles of improving individual skills, lifelong
learning and human factors.
Work in partnership with the Practice Education and Practice Development teams
to achieve a cohesive and comprehensive approach to clinical education and
training across HCS.
