Are you passionate about supporting people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD)? Were looking for a committed and caring Registered Nurse (RNLD or RNID) to join our residential nursing team.
As a Registered Nurse in our service, youll play a key role in promoting the health, well-being, and independence of the people we support. Youll lead and manage shifts, supervise care staff, and ensure high standards of care are delivered at all times.
Main duties of the job
Your main duties will include:
- Providing person-centred care that meets the individual needs of people with PMLD
- Administering medication and monitoring health needs
- Supporting and working with families and other healthcare professionals
- Leading and supervising the care team to ensure care is safe, respectful, and consistent
- Developing, reviewing, and updating care plans and risk assessments
- Creating a supportive environment that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life
- Working in line with the Jersey Care Commission regulations and care standards
