An exciting opportunity has arisen on Corbiere Ward to join a compassionate and supportive team as a Staff Nurse. It is a 28 bedded medical ward with a current nurse to patient ratio of 1:6.The hospital has its own nurse education department that links in with a UK university, funding is generous for academic development. You will be supported with your relocation and a further taxable £3000 paid in your first wage.
You are funded to attend for interview. You are granted 195.0 hours annual leave and on average 10 public holiday days per year equating to a further 75.0 hours leave. 2022 allowance was a generous 82.5 hours due to varying public holidays granted by the Government of Jersey to mark momentous historic occasions.
Main duties of the job
This role operates across a range of clinical areas within the acute and community services. You will
plan and deliver an effective and competent level of care, be fully aware of the needs of the patients
and drive the standard in patient care.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across other department to ensure the continuity in patient
care, acting as a role model for colleuges, patients and relatives. Supervise the care given by
Healthcare Assistants and provide guidance and training as appropriate.
