Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Physiotherapy. This position has come at a pivotal time in the transformation of Health and Community Services.
As Head of Physiotherapy, you will work closely with the General Manager and Lead AHP to oversee the successful, strategic, operational, and financial management of the department, guaranteeing the delivery of high-quality patient services within the constraints of available resources.
You will provide leadership and direction to the employees and services within the department and lead in establishing initiatives in line with the overarching Health & Community Services strategy.
The successful applicant will be expected to conduct frequent service delivery reviews to ensure that all resources are fully used and services are delivered in the most efficient and effective way
Main duties of the job
Responsible for developing, leading and managing the Physiotherapy Department within budget and across care groups within Health & Community Services.
They must ensure provision of timely, cost effective, safe, sustainable and high quality diagnostic Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation services that meet the needs of care groups and service users, ensuring high levels of governance, and consistent and professional

Qualifications
Essential
- Degree/ Diploma in Physiotherapy.
- Masters level Training or equivalent within a specialist role relation to Physiotherapy
- Qualified member of the chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Postgraduate management qualification at Level 7 or Equivalent or equivalent management experience
- Registered as a qualified Physiotherapist with the Heath Care & Professions Council and the Jersey Care Commission
