Job summary

Do you want to use your safeguarding experience to make a real difference to young people at risk of exploitation? In this role as Named Professional for Contextual Safeguarding and Risks outside the Home (ROTH), you will lead on identifying and advocating for the health needs of children and young adults facing risks such as sexual or criminal exploitation, human trafficking, modern slavery and going missing from home. You will work closely with partners across policing, mental health, housing and the voluntary sector, manage a small and complex caseload, offer specialist advice and supervision, and ensure health needs are clearly represented in every assessment and decision.

Main duties of the job

This role gives you the chance to apply your safeguarding expertise in a setting that values compassion, curiosity and strong advocacy for vulnerable young people. You will shape practice, influence training, strengthen safeguarding systems and contribute to wider strategic thinking across Health.
