Job summary

Thank you for your interest in our Principal Clinical Psychologist position! We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and professional Psychologist to join our team and help support the psychological care provided by our Community Mental Health Service for Adults.

Main duties of the job

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will carry out complex psychological assessments in partnership with service users, with a wide range of presenting issues, selecting and administering specialist psychometric assessments, self-report measures, structured observations and clinical interviews as appropriate and interpret and integrate this complex data into intervention/care plans. You will formulate evidenced based psychological treatment plans that are specific to each client, drawing on appropriate conceptual and theoretical models monitoring outcome and modifying and adapting interventions as required. Youll be part of a welcoming, multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, mental health nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, CBT, DBT and EMDR therapists, and support workers.
