Job summary

Nobles Hospital is seeking a Specialty Doctor in General Medicine to join a supportive, fast-paced acute medical team where your expertise is central to patient care. This role places you at the heart of hospital medicine, delivering high-quality care across emergency, acute and inpatient settings.

Main duties of the job

You will manage a wide range of acute medical presentations, with an average of eight to fifteen admissions per 24-hour period. The role also includes providing medical advice to patients under other specialties, delivering ward-based care, leading patient reviews and ward rounds, prescribing and interpreting investigations, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams. Clear communication with patients and relatives, accurate clinical documentation and timely discharge summaries are integral to the post, alongside supporting junior colleagues.
