Job summary

Are you ready to take your Biomedical Science career to the next level in a stunning island setting? As an experienced Pathology IT Manager, you will play a key role within the Pathology Department at Nobles Hospital on the beautiful Isle of Man.

Main duties of the job

As Pathology IT Manager you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our LIMS (WinPath Enterprise) as well as other IT systems within the Pathology Department and wider organisation. This role is a very important part of our Pathology management team and as well as formulating the Pathology IT strategy, you will also be responsible for the Specimen Reception area where you will line manage six MLAs. The ideal candidate therefore should be an experienced HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist and possess strong technical skills, experience with analyser interfacing, system administration and the ability to work effectively with both IT and Pathology staff. You will be part of a dedicated, supportive and forward-thinking team and have the opportunity to use your knowledge and passion to make a real difference! Experience with implementing Digital Pathology systems for Cellular Pathology would also be well received.
