The Isle of Man is separate to the UK with its own government and national health service. With a population of approximately 85,000 our Occupational Therapists enjoy manageable caseloads that allow you more time with your patients to develop therapeutic relationships and put your new skills into practice.The pressures on Occupational Therapy on the Isle of Man are considerably less than the UK, giving you more time to learn, grow and convert learning into valuable experience.

We are proud to offer Band 5 development posts where you are truly supported to learn and develop whilst moving through the Band 5 payscale at pace. You will gain full exposure to all areas of OT across our beautiful island as your role rotates through our various clinics, including orthopaedics, medical care and self-referrals.

- Earn more at Band 5 with salaries which are higher than and separate to UK NHS pay bands. Unlike the UK, your pay will increase after 12 months. You will also receive an additional £1,000 in your 1st, 13th and 25th payslip, in recognition of your work with Manx Care.
- Band 6 in under 2 years, our carefully designed development programme will ensure you reach your career goals
- Keep more of the money you earn with the Isle of Mans tax rate of 21% (compared to the UKs 40%)
- Cheaper accommodation in your first 6 months and then help to pay your rent/mortgage afterwards with a housing assistance allowance
- Enjoy your time off with 27 days annual leave plus an additional 10 days for Isle of Man public holidays
