Job summary
The Isle of Man Ambulance Service (IMAS) is on a pathway of transformation! An integral part of this is placing clinical input at the first point of 999 telephone contact. We are looking for Registered Health Care Professionals to fill our role as a Clinical Navigator within the Emergency Services Joint Control Room (ESJCR). We seek to innovate our approaches to health and care and as such you will be part of the longer-term transformation of our services to better meet the needs of the Islands population and serve our community.
Main duties of the job
Whilst the initial provision is currently daytime hours only, 365 days per year, it will involve shift work of up to 12 hours in duration and unsocial hours including occasional late/ night working. Shifts will be over a 3-week rolling rota including a week of relief working each rotation. It is envisaged the service will progress to a 24-hour provision in the future and will include early, late and night shift working. The Isle of Man Ambulance Service is a unique place to work and you will work in partnership with colleagues across Manx Care and the wider emergency services to provide high quality and timely care to the Islands population. We at the IMAS believe in teamwork, supporting each other and the health and safety of our staff is our key focus! If this sounds like a role youd be interested in, we would love to hear from you. If you are successfully shortlisted, there will be an assessment centre held on the Isle of Man on Thursday 26th June 2025. Due to the nature of the assessments, we are unable to offer remote assessments. In person attendance is mandatory.
