Main duties of the job

Within this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of histological and cytological material under specific standard operational procedures, producing prepared slides for diagnosis of disease processes by a Consultant Pathologist and utilising the most up-to-date scientific methods e.g. immunocytochemistry in conjunction with traditional methods.

About the role

We are seeking a knowledgeable, driven and forward-thinking Biomedical Scientist in Histology to join our dedicated and supportive team in the Pathology Department at Noble’s Hospital on the beautiful Isle of Man.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of histological and cytological material under specific standard operational procedures, producing prepared slides for diagnosis of disease processes by a Consultant Pathologist and utilising the most up-to-date scientific methods e.g. immunocytochemistry in conjunction with traditional methods.
