About the role and our team

As Clinical Practitioner you will be responsible for delivering a prompt, high-quality service to the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) based at the Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital on the beautiful Isle of Man!

You will work autonomously to manage a case load of patients who attend the unit as a result of undiagnosed/undifferentiated problems. Using your advanced knowledge and clinical skills, you will assess, diagnose, treat, discharge or refer patients to other health care professionals as appropriate.

A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month. Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

• Professional registration with the Nursing, Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Have a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or willingness to work towards.
• Level 6 / 7 Qualifications in minor illness and minor
• injury.
• V300 Non- medical prescriber, or working towards with experience of using PGDs.
• ALS provider / willingness to complete ALS training
• IR(MER) trained.
• Completed Red dot radiology course, significant experience interpreting x-rays.
