Job summary

Using your advanced knowledge and clinical skills, you will assess, diagnose, treat, discharge or refer patients to other health care professionals as appropriate. About the role and our team

As Clinical Practitioner you will be responsible for delivering a prompt, high-quality service to the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) based at the Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital on the beautiful Isle of Man!

You will work autonomously to manage a case load of patients who attend the unit as a result of undiagnosed/undifferentiated problems. Using your advanced knowledge and clinical skills, you will assess, diagnose, treat, discharge or refer patients to other health care professionals as appropriate.

  • For candidates not on the Isle of Man we will reimburse your interview expenses and give you a relocation package of up to £7,000 to get you, your things and your family to the island.   • For those relocating or returning to the island you will receive a refund on your national insurance contributions made in your first year, this could be up to £4,400!

  • Have a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or willingness to work towards.
  • Level 6 / 7 Qualifications in minor illness and minor
