Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced Registered Health Professional to provide specialist support, supervision and training for Healthcare Professionals on Safeguarding Children issues. You will be an integral member of the Health Safeguarding Team and our multi-agency safeguarding hub (MASH) working with police, social care colleagues, early help and education. You will be visible within our Emergency Department and Childrens Wards to provide adhoc support and advice where needed and provide advice to Manx Care colleagues via our safeguarding duty line. In order to succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a passion for safeguarding and be prepared to provide training to staff. You will be a valued member of the Safeguarding Team providing specialist advice, support and supervision on matters relating to safeguarding. If you are experienced in working with safeguarding issues within an acute or community healthcare setting, and are passionate about championing for our Islands vulnerable children and young people, we would love to hear from you!
