About the role and our team

As Lead Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for leading, co-ordinating, managing and developing the clinical pharmacy service in our acute care settings, which consist of Noble’s Hospital, Ramsey & District Cottage Hospital and Mental Health Services.

Being an active member of the Senior Pharmacy Team you will help us deliver safe, effective and economic medicines optimisation for our patients, carers and staff on our unique island.

A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month. This role also qualifies for a recruitment incentive of £3,000, payable in the 1st, 13th, and 25th months of employment.

Due to a commitment to work on call, a full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be beneficial. You will receive an on call allowance.

Participation on the Saturday and Bank Holiday rota is required.

A uniform will also be provided.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

• Pharmacy degree (BPharm, BSc (Pharm), MPharm or equivalent).
• Registered as a pharmacist with General Pharmaceutical Council
• Postgraduate Diploma or Masters Degree in Clinical Pharmacy.
