About the role and our team

Join our dedicated team as a Health Visitor on the Isle of Man!

Within this role, you will assess the health needs of children and families, either in their homes or a clinical environment.

You will develop and deliver a plan of care to address identified needs, make referrals and work in partnership with multi-professional agencies.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Working independently, managing your own caseload
• Undertaking holistic family assessments
• Running clinics or drop-in sessions for patients
• Referring patients to other agencies based on individual assessment

About the Island and relocating

A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month. This role also qualifies for a recruitment incentive of £3,000, payable in the 1st, 13th, and 25th months of employment.

A full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required for this role. A uniform will also be provided.

Qualifications

Essential

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Specialist Public Health.
• Nurse (Health Visitor) 1 year Post Graduate Degree.
• V100 (Nurse Prescribing Course).
