About the role and our team
Join our team as a Band 7 Major Trauma Co-ordinator within Manx Care!
We are looking for a passionate, person centred and highly motivated clinician to lead co-ordination of the major trauma pathways for all patients within Manx Care. You will be responsible for the coordination of major trauma services across Manx Care, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care.
The role will involve working closely with the Major Trauma Network to implement trauma guidelines and protocols, liaising with clinical teams and tertiary centres to ensure best practice, and developing effective communication pathways between different departments and teams.
You will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and manage the patient's care from admission through to discharge. You will play an important role in identifying areas for improvement within the network and implementing changes to enhance the quality of care provided to patients.

For those relocating or returning to the island you will receive a refund on your national insurance contributions made in your first year, this could be up to £4,400!

A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
