The States of Guernsey are looking for a Staff Nurse to join Victoria Wing based at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.Victoria Wing is a 19 bedded private facility within the main Princess Elizabeth Hospital proving care for patients with a wide range of acute and complex conditions including surgical, medical, oncology and end of life care.The Staff Nurse role is integral in the direct delivery of nursing care, including the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care from admission to discharge. You will be responsible and accountable for safe, compassionate person-centred evidence-based nursing whilst maintaining dignity of service users at all times.
You will support, promote, and develop the professional skills of registered and unregistered colleagues through knowledge and competence and in partnership with the Acute Practice development Team. You will, with support and guidance, be expected to participate in taking charge when required, co-ordinating the smooth running of the ward, working in partnership with members of differing professions
