Job summary

Willows Day Centre - The Willows is a specialist service maximising wellbeing and opportunities for people living with a diagnosis of dementia and enduring mental illness, whilst ensuring respect, dignity and choice. The post holder will be a professional experienced in assessing, implementing, and evaluating programmes of care and support for service users living with a diagnosis of dementia and enduring mental illness.

Main duties of the job

The Willows Manager will assume continuing responsibility for service provision within the centre. The Manager will be responsible for the assessment and allocation of placements within the day centre, ensuring person centred care is provided alongside assessing risk and maintaining the health and safety of everyone. The Willows Manager has an allocated budget, and the post holder is required to manage resources in an efficient and cost-effective manner. In consultation and collaboration with peers and Operational Managers the post holder will contribute to or lead on designated work streams relevant to the service such as policy review and safety and quality initiatives. The post holder will be responsive and innovative and always inclusive of colleagues when considering new ways of working.
