The States of Guernsey are looking for two motivated Team Leaders or Support Workers to join the Social Care Team at Adult Community Services.
The post holder will work closely with the Senior Team Leaders and registered nurses, assisting in providing support and health and social care interventions to service users living in the community. The post holder will be supported by the senior team leaders to upskill regarding specific and relevant training, andwill assist in maintaining continuity, consistency and equitable provision of care to service users in the community while supporting and guiding the Community Carers to ensure best practice is achieved.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work closely with the Senior Team Leaders and registered
nurses assisting in providing support and health and social care interventions to service users
living in community. The post holder will be working directly under the nurses to support with
nursing tasks and interventions. The post holder will be supported by the senior team leaders
to upskill regarding specific and relevant training.
The post holder will assist in maintaining continuity, consistency and equitable provision of
care to service users in the community while supporting and guiding the Community Carers
to ensure best practice is achieved.
