Job responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:

• Provide specialist, person-centred care which considers safety, privacy and dignity using advanced clinical knowledge.
• Manage own clinical caseload and proactively support the Service Person (SP) through their clinical pathway in accordance with best practice, current legislation, and Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) policy.
• Participate in clinical supervision provided by clinical lead and engage in engage in the performance review process.
• Provide clinical advice and training on the clinical value of Occupational Health (OH) to other members of the multidisciplinary team, and external agencies / organisations as requested.

Further Information

All employees joining the Ministry of Defence who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a 6-month probation period (unless otherwise advised) effective from the employment start date.

• An Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with current registration with an appropriate governing and regulatory body (eg Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or National Midwifery Council (NMC)
