The Ministry of Defence (MOD) provides an occupationally focused HealthCare Service. Our Specialist Occupational Health (OH) services encompass the medical aspects of an individual's fitness for work, to include employment, deployment, health surveillance, rehabilitation, provision of advice to commanders and (Army only) ill-health retirement. OH is a key contributor to force preparation, force multiplier and force sustainment, and is a common thread through all health and wellbeing interventions.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Health Clinician to join our vibrant and fast paced organisation that seeks to sustain and improve the operational efficiency of injured service personnel by supporting the delivery of a peripatetic occupational health service. The role is based at Merville Barracks, Colchester.
The vacant post is part time working 15 hours 18 minutes per week. A current Driving Licence is required for this role due to the role being peripatetic and cannot be delivered using public transport.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will support the delivery of a peripatetic Occupational Health (OH) service which requires travel between the base location and the assigned units.
