Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary primary healthcare team delivering primary healthcare nursing including elements of occupational health within the Aldershot Combined Medical Practice and will be a focal point for Primary Health Care nursing issues within area of practice. The Combined Practice is formed of two sites Aldershot and Minley Practices and there is an expectation the Band 6 nurse will be required to work across both sites.
The post holder will be able to work unsupervised and provide nursing care to the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) population at risk, holding an individual case load, and through consultation identify, assess and diagnose patients with complex health needs, minor injuries, minor illnesses and specific diseases within their level of competence.
