We are seeking a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic Band 6 Vocational Occupational Therapist to join the Force Generation Rehabilitation teamat Stanford Hall, Loughborough. The Role is only available on a Full Time basis of 37.5 hours a week.

Main duties of the job
DMRC provides medical rehabilitation for patients with complex needs who may have sustained multiple injuries; this includes neurological injury and complex trauma. In addition, the Centres of Spinal and Upper Quadrant, Lower Limb and Specialist Rehabilitation provide the consultant led multidisciplinary management at secondary care level.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist Occupational Therapy rehabilitation to service personnel with complex clinical needs within the Force Generation Vocational Occupational Therapy Service.
The postholder will have a specific focus on supporting personnel to either return to work within the military or transition into the civilian workforce.
The postholder will work autonomously and be accountable for own professional actions and of those staff who they line manage. Alongside providing full support to the Band 7 Occupational Therapists, Team Manager and Occupational Therapy Professional Lead Advisor in the provision of a comprehensive, evidence based and professional Occupational Therapy service within clinical area.
