Main duties of the job
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for supporting the Regional Clinical Director (RCD) and their staff to maintain
the delivery of safe and effective Occupational Healthcare (OH) and Rehabilitation to the
Reserve Forces to mandated standards across the Region.
You willprovide high-quality person-centred care which always considers
peoples safety, privacy and dignity using advanced clinical knowledge that is evidence
based.

Job responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Undertaking technical nursing observations and clinical measurements prior to military
medicals and screening.This will involve working at weekends and weekday evenings as
a matter of course, potentially at a variety of medical facilities within DPHC North region.
- Administering vaccinations consistent with Military and national Guidelines and Patient Group
Directions (PGDs).
- Participating in health screening and education within DPHC Medical Facilities in the north
region, including sexual health and smoking cessation clinics, dependant on qualifications
and experience.
- Registering/de-registering Reservists on Defence Medical Information Capability Programme
(DMICP) summarise medical notes and document clinical procedures and scanning of all relevant documentations onto DMICP in accordance with current DMS policies and in line
with local procedures
- Maintaining written and/or electronic records in accordance with best practice and with regards
to confidentiality.
