Job responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:

• To maintain the integrity and stock of the Dispensary and Pharmaceutical stores in accordance with current regulations and requirements.
• To dispense and issue prescriptions to patients in order to contribute to the Principle Medical Officers (PMOs) standards and objectives.
• Work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the Dispensary and Medical Store.
• Ensure medical supplies and pharmaceuticals are stored in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and guidelines.

There will be no reimbursement for any travel expenses for the interview.

Registrations and Memberships

Essential

• Registration with GPhC (achieved via NVQ Level 3/BTEC Pharmaceutical science qualification, or grand-parenting).
• Please provide your membership registration number.
• You are required to be registered with the relevant professional body, as detailed in the advert, prior to submitting your application.
• Your application will not progress should you fail to provide a valid membership registration number.

Qualifications

Essential

• BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or Equivalent NVQ Level III Pharmacy Services.

Desirable

• Accredited Checking Technician.
• Medicines Management Qualification such as drug history taking or medicines reconciliation.
• CPPE Primary Care Pathway or Equivalent.
