Job responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the surgery is prepared appropriately for the days patients in accordance with current regulations
• Carrying out and recording daily maintenance, checking dental equipment, and reporting defects in accordance with current equipment care policies.
• Maintaining the standard and cleanliness of the surgery and accommodation for which they are responsible, reporting any deficiencies in accordance with local protocols.
• Carrying out dental work under the direction of a registered dentist who has examined the patient and indicated in writing the course of treatment to be provided.
• Cleaning and sterilising all equipment in accordance with DPHC (D) IPC policy and manufacturers instructions.

There is no requirement to deploy as this is met by our uniformed personnel, but you will form the continuity of care required by our patients when based at home.

• or Bachelors in Science (BSc) Dental Therapy
