Main duties of the job
The duties of the successful candidate will include providing administrative and clinical support for the provision of dental care in Defence Primary Health Care (DPHC) Dental Centres (DC) to enhance force generation and operational capability and minimise dental morbidity on operations.

Job responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:
- Undertake CPD in the core subjects of medical emergencies, Infection Prevention control (IPC), disinfection and decontamination, radiography and radiation protection, legal and ethical issues and handling complaints, as recommended by the GDC.
- Be responsible for the management and supervision of the appointment system. Undertaking routine reception duties as required.
- Manage and co-ordinate the completion of the Healthcare Governance Assurance Self-Assessment. (Electronic Healthcare Assurance Framework (eHAF)) further support the SDO in compliance by contributing in level 1 2 Assurance.
- Liaise with local commanders to ensure periods of force generation are effectively managed to maximise the number of personnel dentally fit to deploy on operations.
This role includesRetention Allowance (RRA) £1500per annum - General Dental Council Registration reimbursement - On call allowance.
