We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, organised and hardworking Band 6 Practice Nurse to join our multi-disciplined vibrant and fast paced organisation working at RAF Shawbury , Shrewsbury.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary primary healthcare team, leading the delivery of primary healthcare nursing including elements of occupational health.
This position is being advertised at 27.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing and carrying out care programmes directly to patients to meet their nursing care needs in accordance with evidence-based practice.
- Organising complex activities or programmes for
patients, drawing on an appropriate range of multi-disciplinary and
interprofessional resources within the MF and across the wider military
services to promote integrated and seamless pathways of care
- Being proactive in the development of Service and organisational initiatives. Working within the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Establish and maintain positive interpersonal
relationships with patients other staff members characterised by trust, mutual
respect, and open, honest communication.Attending team & practice meetings.
- Striving constantly to improve practice
and health outcomes so that they are consistent with or better than national
and international standards through initiating, facilitating and leading change
at individual team, organisational and system levels.
