We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our supportive and friendly team located at RAF Coningsby.
This is a full time position (37.5hrs) and Part-time candidates will be considered but due to service delivery requirements it must be on a job share basis as full-time hours need to be covered.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate willensure the provision of a comprehensive and professional physiotherapy/rehabilitiation service for entitled personnel. This includes undertaking highly skilled and specialist work in the musculo-skeletal/sports and training injury areas.

Job responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performing highly skilled physio-therapeutic assessment of patients referred by Consultants, General Practitioners and other Healthcare Professionals with diverse presentations and complex and acute/chronic physical conditions and sports injuries. To use clinical reasoning skills to provide an accurate clinical diagnosis.
- Formulating, developing and delivering a specialised individualised treatment programme based upon evidence based practice, manual assessment and appropriate clinical reasoning.
- Communicating effectively with patients to ensure informed consent for assessment and treatment, good understanding of their conditions and maximise their rehabilitation potential. Patients may have barriers to communication e.g. English as their second language.
- The provision of clinical reports to supply clinical prognoses and comprehensive discharge planning for other medical professionals and, where appropriate the military Chain of Command (CoC).
