who will be working within Regional Rehabilitation Unit (RRU) Aldershot.
The vacant post is a full-time position working 37.5 hours
per week. Part-time candidates will be considered but due to service delivery
requirements it must be on a job share basis as full-time hours need to be
covered.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will give full support to the Line Manager in
ensuring the provision of a comprehensive and professional physiotherapy/rehabilitation service for entitled personnel. This will include
undertaking highly skilled and specialist work in the musculoskeletal/sports
and training injury area including group therapy.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Providing a high standard of physiotherapy delivery to Service personnel including highly specialist interventions in the musculoskeletal/sports and training injury environment.
- Providing a positive caring environment, in which patients can expect a high-quality professional service.
- Formulating, developing, and delivering a specialised individualised treatment programme based upon evidence-based practice, manual assessment and appropriate clinical reasoning.
- Ensuring high standards of administration of physiotherapy care within the department in both, allocation of patients to therapists and other multidisciplinary team members and referrals to review clinics.
- Taking the lead in teaching and guiding physiotherapy undergraduate students where appropriate.
