We are looking to recruit a Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who actively demonstrates effective decision making and projects personality and character to motivate, guide and support members of the multi-disciplinary team to achieve desired end results.

Main duties of the job
As the successful post
holder you will be providing Cognitive Behavioural therapy to a defined caseload and will work autonomously within a
multidisciplinary team to provide a specialist/occupational mental health
service.
As the Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Therapist you will demonstrate flexiblity in delivering individualised care packages to meet the mental health needs of
military personnel, which could include the co-ordination of complex care for a
defined caseload.

Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
- Providing complex assessment and formulation of the needs for referred
patients, planning, implementing and evaluating care with a high level of
autonomy.
- Providing advice and recommendations to Defence Primary Healthcare staff on
relevant matters of mental health, care and treatment which will include
occupational advice on the individuals ability to be employed in their
operational role.
- Liaising and providing advice on occupational mental health directly to the
service persons employer.
- Providing evidence based interventions to meet the complex needs of Service
personnel.
