We are looking to recruit a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic Band 8a Regional Occupational Health Advisor to join our vibrant and fast paced organisation that seeks to sustain and improve the operational efficiency of injured service personnel by the provision of high-quality targeted rehabilitation.
This post is Fixed Term Appointment (FTA) ending 2nd April 2025. Please note this role is 37.5 hours per week, requests to work flexibly will be considered, taking into account business needs. Could this be the role for you? If so, we'd love to hear from you!
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will plan and manage complex OH care, undertake comprehensive assessment and management of OH care for the Defence service population, linking into the chain of command (CoC), single services (sS) and other specialist Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) pillars as appropriate. The post holder will be required to deliver independent assessment and sound clinical decision making and planning.
