We are looking for an experienced individual to deliver effective PMO/Programme management leadership, robust planning, project management, governance processes to ensure priorities and deliverables are met within changing timescales and political upheaval both leading and supporting delivery.

Main duties of the job

Lead & manage excellent PMO/Programme/Project management across a range of complex programmes & projects working at national, regional & ICS level as well as with providers & alliance/consortia customers, ensuring strong leadership, robust planning, project management, governance processes & ensuring that priorities & deliverables are met within changing timescales & political upheaval.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead role in the development and delivery of the broader PMO/Programme/Project and its initiatives

Provide advice to the PMO/Programme/Project teams & stakeholders in relation to project and programme management, processes, & procedures

Lead role in design and implementation of PMO/Programme/Project management operational models, tools and processes shaped around the needs of the PMO/Programme/Project to ensure delivery of aims & objectives

Lead role in design and implement stakeholder management working with a wide range of different and sometimes high-profile stakeholders in health, care, local government, cabinet office & public bodies

Accountability for artefacts such as reporting & tracking action, risks & issues to a wide & often high-profile audience; management of risks & issues

Lead on the production & presentation of documents, reports and slide packs as required and quality assure and sign off the work of other team members

Leading requirements for programme reporting & key communications & messages to wider health & care audiences

About us

This bank role sits within the Transformation Directorate, which has approximately 250 people working across a range of professional disciplines within the transformation and consultancy space.

The post holder will play an essential part in the effective delivery of impactful projects and consultancy assignments across health and care.
