Job summary

The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge, and technology to improve, inform and support a portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives.

Main duties of the job

  • Ensuring complex and very large data sets are loaded into the data warehouse.
  • Assist with the loading of data sets into the data warehouse
  • Ensuring Key Performance Indicator are met

About us

The post holder will be working in a supportive team that focuses on Service Delivery within Data Management and Architecture.

The post is full time (37.5 hours over 5 days Monday to Friday), however 30 hours over 5 days will be considered.

  • Working knowledge of relational database structures, preferably implemented in Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Experience of using T-SQL to query data. The post requires an ability to query large data sets to find items of erroneous data and to test whether loading routines have completed successfully.
