Job summary

This position is a new post within the Strategy and Innovation Team, which will develop product development partnering and innovation strategies for key priority capability areas to develop new products and services for key markets and customers. Based on customer demands and needs. Working closely with colleagues across Arden & GEM, ensuring coherent integrated approach to developing these capabilities and products.

This exciting role will work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure these initiatives are progressed from idea, development through piloting and commercial growth and scaling process

We are seeking an individual with a proven track record of transformation and delivery supporting and ensuring alignment across the system to national, regional and system priorities and needs and with the experience of working with partners to ensure the vison is clearly communicated and delivered in a timely manner.

The position is initially offered on a fixed term basis to the end of March 2025 basis but may have the potential to be extended further subject to funding.

Main duties of the job

An exciting senior position has arisen within the Strategy and Innovation team within Arden & GEM reporting to the Director of Strategy and Innovation.The mains duties for this role and experience to support with delivery:

oAn expert in building excellent working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to support the development of innovative and transformation change.

oAbility to deal with complex issues, problems and information with the ability to assess, interpret and present clearly to a wider range of stakeholders

An effective communicator, negotiator with influencing skills to enable effective change management with stakeholders at all levels (including senior management) who may hold differing and contentious views.

oExperience of developing research, innovation and development proposals that require critical analysis and judgement system needs assessment, existing capabilities and potential growth

oThe post holder will be accountable for developing and delivering associated strategies, promoting innovation, and supporting operational excellence within Arden & GEM. This will involve working with highly complex data, facts and situations requiring analysis, interpretations and comparisons on a range of options and making decisions on the most appropriate approach.
