Job summary

We are looking for a Reporting Developer expert in Power BI & Power Automate to contribute to the production and development of the Power BI environment within Arden & GEM.Working as part of our Systems, Application and Reporting Team, you will be required to design and develop reporting solutions using a wide range of reporting tools including but not limited to Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.The successful candidate will be responsible for building end-to-end processes. It will include the final solution's design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance.You will be using your in-depth knowledge of Power BI and apply your strong data visualisation skills and creative flare to turn user stories into stunning solutions to address a wide range of clinical, operational, strategic questions.You will be required to utilise various software tools including the use of Microsoft SQL Server databases and its associated tools (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS).The post is home or remote working; therefore, suitable environment at home required to facilitate home working.

Main duties of the job

  • You must have experience in Power BI Reports production, Power Automate and a working knowledge of Power Apps.
  • You will possess the ability to strategically plan within Power BI and solve problems.
  • Additionally, experience Tableau or other reporting software is preferable.
  • You must have experience of developing a range of reports and dashboards, from creating data models in Power BI to writing complex DAX.
  • The Reporting Developer must be passionate about report design, proactive, results-driven, and detail-oriented; the candidate must thrive in a team environment and be able to work independently.
  • The post holder will work within the Systems and Reporting Team, as a Principal Reporting Solutions Developer interacting with the Lead; Business Analysts; the wider development team and AGEM customers to ensure effective service delivery and to ensure core service outputs are delivered on time and as per requirement.
  • To design and develop Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence code across database engine, SSIS ,SSAS ,SSRS. Should be proficient in SQL Programming Languages.
  • Should be familiar with SharePoint Technology for BI reports Integration. Any knowledge on Microsoft .Net technology and Programming(C#/VB.Net) is nice to have.
