Job summary

NHS Arden & GEM Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) has built a reputation for delivering high quality support solutions to customers. Success has been built upon developing compelling and winning propositions and successful project delivery.

This is a highly networked role, and you will be expected to establish key internal relationships and work collaboratively and largely autonomously with colleagues in multiple Service Line teams. The Bid and Proposal Writer will be responsible for ensuring that AGCSU develop compelling narrative (including evidence gathering in support of the bid) and responses to tender and proposal opportunities for a very wide variety of subject areas.

You will lead production of tender responses for those bids assigned to you by the Head of Bid Management; ensuring that you work effectively with contributing authors to provide high quality and compelling narrative/material that both fully answers the bid question and comprehensively meets the evaluation criteria set for each bid question.

Working closely with the Head of Bid Management and other members of the Bid Team, you will help shape tender responses and supporting documentation including, amongst other artefacts, presentation and qualification documentation as well as helping to develop proposals for opportunities where we have been approached directly by prospective customers.
