Communication and Relationship Skills
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people across the organisation and customers, to ensure effective service delivery is achieved.
Utilise a variety of tools and techniques to develop and support the delivery of organisational wide initiatives both receiving and providing complex information.
To provide, both verbal and written, reports to stakeholders (as required) on projects and tasks that they are leading on, and negotiate for a successful outcome.
Provide and receive highly complex, sensitive or contentious information; agreement or co-operation required; Present highly complex, sensitive or contentious information to groups Motivational skills to encourage collaborative working to improve services/performance where there may be resistance to change; Presents workshops to large groups of staff
Motivate and drive subordinates to achieve the results required.
Train users and support them in making effective decisions whilst making them aware of the implications and dependencies.
Knowledge Training and Experience
Highly developed specialist knowledge, underpinned by theory and experience Knowledge of health service management, including change management and workforce re-design, acquired through training and experience equivalent to Masters level.
Advanced Microsoft product suite skills to enable issue resolution including Access and Excel.
Develop solutions on SharePoint Online using a working knowledge of SharePoint Server (On-Prem) and extensive experience of SharePoint Online.
Integrate and Automate solutions using the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform toolsets.
Work with the Microsoft 365 Solutions Architect and other SMEs to co-ordinate developmental approach and standardise solutions.
Conduct data and file migrations to SharePoint environments.
Development skills on SharePoint and Power Automate building workflows and automations.
Project management skills and experiences so able to deliver solutions within time frame and resource envelope.
Analytical and Judgemental Skills
Actively seek out; define and resolve any roadblocks to effective knowledge sharing in the organisational.
Look to understand the underlying issue and work with stakeholders to remediate the problem. Escalating when appropriate to do so.
Ability to compare a range of technical options analyse their implications, compare and advise on a suitable direction.
Planning and Organisational Skills
Plan and manage varied workload and assigned tasks. Have that ability to use own judgement and re prioritise when a situation changes keeping stakeholders and line manager informed.
Deliver and manage projects, programs and tasks to time, resource and fiscal remits.
Contribute to planning and formulation of strategy for the service.
Responsibilities for Policy and Service Development Implementation
Propose, develop and implement policy changes within own and other areas.
Promote effective working and champion systems to the wider Arden & GEM Commissioning Support organisation.
Responsibilities for Financial and Physical Resources
Responsible for proper and safe use of IT equipment by users when developing their abilities.
Support and assist in resolving users technical issues on equipment that they have been issued by Arden & GEM Commissioning Support.
Responsibility for Human Resources
Provide training for other team members, colleagues, customers and subordinates on specialist areas.
Day to day manage and mentoring of subordinates (where applicable) to ensure they maintain standards and deliver the required outputs.
Support, advise subordinate in delivering their projects checking quality and validity of work.
Responsibilities for Information Resources
Regularly generate reports, documents, drawings relating to the specialist area in which they are working to be presented across the organisation at all levels.
Maintain key business systems and support user and customer use of said systems (SharePoint; eforms and workflows). Including creating users; assigning permissions and auditing access.
Deliver, from initial discussion to final product, bespoke workflows and customised systems following industry best practice.
Effectively use a range of IT applications to create reports, project plans and documents.
Enable the business and its customers to understand and use the information at their disposal in the most effective manner and for positive effect.
Adapt systems and solutions to meet changing requirements and spot commonality.
Support bespoke software with limited documentation.
Responsibilities for Research and Development
Regularly develop bespoke custom systems to enhance the business effectiveness of Arden & GEM Commissioning Support.
Design and run testing plans of new and developed systems to ensure that they are robust for use by the business.
Create documentation and training material to support the implementation of systems that they have developed and deliver to both internal staff and external customers.
Freedom to Act
Required to act independently within specific projects, consulting where appropriate for further guidance or information
Work within National and organisational policies and procedures, seeking advice from senior staff as required.
