Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Integrated Governance team based in Warwick. This post will be an Information Governance role within the team to cover the Coventry & Warwickshire ICB and its' constituent partners.
An enthusiastic and self-motivated Information Governance Officer is needed to work in our Integrated Governance team under the supervision of the Senior Information Governance Manager.
Main duties of the job
The focus of this role will be to provide, maintain the Data Security Protection Toolkit (DSPT), Information Governance advice and implementation of the Data Protection Act, GDPR, application of the Caldicott Principles and all aspects of confidentiality and security and the Information Governance Framework in the NHS, both internally to AGEM CSU staff as required and to external customers within the Coventry and Warwickshire area.
AGEM CSU provides responsive and high-quality Information Governance support to a range of customers, including general practice, NHS England, Integrated Care Boards, Acute Trusts and Community Health Trusts. Knowledge and experience on all aspects of Information Governance in a health and social care organisation is essential, particularly in commissioning organisation.
