Due to organisational growth our People Services team are looking to recruit a HR Assistant. This is a key role in providing a comprehensive and high-quality support service by undertaking a wide range of administrative and transactional tasks working efficiently with office systems and processes. Thus, ensuring that an efficient and effective HR service in accordance with employment legislation and organisational policy and procedure is provided.

Please note this role is office based.
Main duties of the job
Contribute and support in HR transactional and administrative tasks in relation to recruitment, pre-employment, onboarding, and employment lifecycle activities.
To process all HR transactions and other information in a timely manner, including but not restricted to; job adverts, pre-employment checks, issuing contracts and contract variations, maintenance of files and records, and advising managers and staff on routine HR queries.
Proactively contribute and provide HR administrative support to the team with the development and maintenance of human resource policies and procedures. Including dealing diplomatically and professionally with sensitive or difficult situations, while ensuring deadlines are met and confidentiality observed.
Working as part of the wider team to review working practices, ensuring continual quality improvement and a high level of customer service.
To be successful in this role you will need:
To be educated to GCSE standard (including maths and English) or equivalent
Some knowledge and understanding of HR policy/process
Self-motivated, resilient with the ability to use initiative to prioritise workload
Solid administrative skills but ideally some transactional HR experience
Customer focused
