Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join the department. The team of over 80 staff offers data and digital services to a wide array of clients across the health and care sector as well as NECS staff based across England. Delivery Manager is a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of key service activities and processes across our data and digital teams.
We offer hybrid working in this role meaning that the successful candidate can work from a mixture of locations including home, NECS offices and customer locations.
Main duties of the job
This role will be responsible for:
Leading, promoting and supporting the development and delivery of data, digital and technology projects working within a multi-disciplinary team.
Using highly specialist knowledge to ensure the successful delivery of the programmes of work, planning project and product enhancements to ensure integration of all activities and identification of dependencies, risks and constraints
Directing the planning and designing of complex programmes comprising multiple projects across the programme delivery groups. Proactively monitoring the overall progress, resolving issues and implementing corrective action as appropriate.
Driving the data, digital and technology team to work at pace, ensuring the team is motivated towards working to delivery commitments and programme objectives.
Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders ensuring effective communication is maintained throughout projects and service delivery

A Senior Delivery Manager at NECS will encourage and motivate individuals, providing leadership, focus and support and work collaboratively with our internal and external clients.
At NECS, we utilise a range of project management techniques based on the requirements of the project or client. As part of delivery, you will keep pace with the the relevant agile, lean and project management tools and techniques actively participating in industry and best practice communities to share, re-apply skills and knowledge and bring in best practice to NECS and your team.
It is essential that you have experience in leading and matrix-managing multi-disciplinary teams to achieve team and organisational outcomes using principles and practices that ensure the optiumum outcomes. You will be experienced in building successful delivery teams and can maintain, influence and motivate.

- Project or Programme Management professional qualification, for example PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or Scrum.

- Formal management qualification.
