We are looking for an Assistant Practice Manager to support the GP Partners & Practice Manager in effectively managing the wider practice team, patient services & overall smooth running of the surgery.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will lead on aspects of the day-to-day running of the surgery and deputise for the Practice Manager during periods of absence.
You will be supported by and work within a management team which includes a Business Manager, Practice Manager and Office Lead.
About us
The practice provides NHS services to 11,300 patients who live in Blaydon, Winlaton, Ryton and the surrounding areas. We work in a purpose-built 10-year-old building adjacent to the shopping centre. The practice team consists of GPs, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Pharmacists, Secretaries and receptionists as well as a team of attached staff from the PCN and secondary care.
