We are delighted to offer this post based at The Welsh Centre of Burns and Plastic Surgery in Moriston Hospital which is aimed at strengthening skills in Burns and Plastic Surgery and Medical Education. It is intended that these posts will provide an excellent learning opportunity and will enhance individual's CV's attracting high calibre candidates who are interested in both medical education and a career in Plastic Surgery. This post will have responsibility for students on placement in the Burns and Plastic Surgery Department in conjunction with the TPD for Plastic Surgery and Clinical Lead for Educational Placements in Burns and Plastic Surgery, alternating time between clinical work and tutor role at SHO level
Main duties of the job
The postholder will alternate their time between the clinical tutor role and clinical work within the Burns & Plastic Surgery service. The postholder will contribute to undergraduate teaching and will have opportunity to build portfolios and experience in teaching and plastic surgery
