Job summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and organised individuals to join our team. The post holders will require excellent communication skills, have a very positive and flexible approach to the needs of the service, be motivated and ready for the next challenge and also enjoy working as part of a very busy team. Knowledge of WPAS/IFIT and previous Health Records experience is desirable, however full in house training will be provided.

Main duties of the job

The Health Records Department at Ty Samlet, Swansea currently has the following positions available:

Position one : Monday - Friday 3pm - 7pm 20 hour post

Position two: Monday-Friday 5pm -9pm 20 hour post

Position three: Friday 4pm -9pm, Saturday 8am-4.30pm, Sunday 9am-12pm (16 hour post)

Position four: Saturday 8am-4.30pm, Sunday 9am-12pm & Monday 4pm -9pm (16 hour post)

Position five: Saturday 8am-4.30pm, Sunday 9am-12pm, Monday & Tuesday 4pm-9pm (21 hour post)

there may be a requirement to participate in the health records on call service along with supporting the service across Morriston/Singleton and Neath hospitals when necessary in line with working patterns

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Educated to NVQ Level 2 or able to demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience
