An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of an innovative and dynamic team, working within Help Me Quit smoking cessation service. In this role you will support with the administration and engagement of Maternity, Community and secondary care clients/Patients, and be part of the wider team providing advice and support, to safely and sustainably, stop smoking. Also working on Engagement events within the Community, Maternity and secondary care, working closely with stakeholders and partners. Main duties of the job

To provide comprehensive administrative and engagement support to the Health Board's Help Me Quit management team. This includes; providing administrative support to the operational manager, arranging meetings (including virtual), coordinating information, preparation of agendas, minute taking, data entry, and regular routine audits. The post holder will play an instrumental role in supporting the HB's Smoking Cessation Services and strategy. The Engagement Facilitator will support the promotion and coordination of the Help Me Quit service in SBU following the Ottawa Model, in line with national and local guidance and best practice The post holder is required to communicate and liaise with staff and members of partner organisations, produce work to deadlines whilst ensuring compliance with Health Board policies. This is a key supporting role in the effective running of the service, which includes the management of resources as part of the core duties.
