Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nursing) or can demonstrate equivalent experience to join the Looked after Children's Health Team .
The service hours are Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm. We have 2 posts available: 30hr and 22.5hr hours a week.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work with the LAC Clinical Nurse Specialist to identify and address the health needs of children and young people who are looked after within the SBUHB area.
You will have recent relevant experience of working with children and families within the community. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be adept at prioritising and working flexibly and demonstrate knowledge of legislation and policy relating to the Looked after Child.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
